Macon-made Movie to be Honored in Hollywood - A black and white noir prison drama called Stuck! was directed by independent filmmaker Steve Balderson and shot in Macon, GA during April and May of 2009.

Feb. 6: BLACK IN FILM SERIES - The Women of Brewsters Place. The African American Cinema Gallery (AACG) presents their 9th annual Black History Month at Underground Atlanta each Saturday in February beginning at 1 p.m. in the Welcome Center Theatre.


Feb. 6-27: FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL - The High Museum of Art hosts the 11th annual film series “French Film Yesterday and Today.” This year’s series presents the classic French thriller Diabolique alongside the contemporary films Summer Hours, Angel of Mine and The Beaches of Agnès. 8 p.m. in the Richard H. Feb. 12: EMORY MOVIE MANIA FILM SERIES- Pink Floyd-The Wall (1982). Based on the British rock group's 1997 rock opera album, "The Wall," this is a film about a rock star who is very successful and haunted by his childhood memories, causing him a sense of isolation and alienation. Our discussant is Dr. Steven Jaffe. He is on the Emory faculty in Psychiatry and has specialized in his work with adolescents.7:30 p.m. in 205 White Hall at Emory University. FREE.
