New Creative Director for Crawford

Deepens Talent Pool with Jim Bowhall

June 21, 2009 (ATLANTA, GA) Jim Bowhall has returned to Crawford Post Production as creative director. Leading a team of artists, he will collaborate with clients to develop storyboards and cultivate ideas while working on agency, corporate and broadcast projects.

Jim approaches his craft from an animator's perspective, bringing an advanced level of detail and motion to his work which is often described as fluid and contemporary. Crawford Post clients and post team gain another creative point of view as Jim's expertise broadens the possibilities for top-notch visual/graphic (VFX/GRFX) design on branding and marketing initiatives.

"There are a lot of talented people here," says Jim. "As creative director, I will use my experience and client relationships to build and grow the VFX/GRFX department. Crawford Post has the infrastructure, size and support to meet the challenges of an ever-changing design and VFX market."

Over the last three years, Jim has been busy as creative director and partner for the Lvngrm, an editorial and VFX boutique in Midtown Atlanta. Prior to that, he worked at Crawford Post for 12 years, honing his talent in Avid, Flame/Inferno, Fire/Smoke/Combustion, 3ds Max and Adobe Creative Suite. During this time, Jim designed and animated the show open for National Geographic Channel's high definition, award-winning series "Treasure Seekers." While attending Savannah College of Art and Design, he was a production assistant for Headline News. Jim graduated in 1994, magna cum laude.
