July 2006 - Magick Lantern helped their clients bring home two
gold and three silver PROMAX Awards at the annual PROMAX & BDA
International Conference held in New York from June 20-22, 2006.
- In the Broadcast Network's General Programming category, Editor
/ Compositor Jesenko Fazlagic and Producer Michael Britan won
a gold award for their work on "Screen Actors Guild,"
a: 60 interstitial promoting the upcoming broadcast for the SAG
& Oscars Awards on TNTLA.
- The second gold award went to Editor / Compositor Nancy Rosette
with Producers Kevin MaGann and Terese Rabbit for their contributions
to the Gospel Music Channel's Daypart Packaging Promotion, "Represent
- The creative team of Rosette, MaGann and Rabbit also garnered
a silver award for The Gospel Channel's Daypart Packaging Promotion,
"Wake Up Call."
- Magick was also awarded another silver with Editor / Compositor
James Powell and Producer Doug VanSickle with TBS for a promo
for their upcoming movie, "Shanghai Noon."
- The final silver award was won by Editor / Compositor Alphonso
Dorman and Producer Jennifer Day for TNTLA's made for TV movie
promotion, "Helen of Troy."
The PROMAX Awards are held annually in
six countries including the USA. The awards are regarded as the
most prestigious accolades earned by creative industry professionals.
