WHAT: Community Preview Screening of Acclaimed Documentary MISS NAVAJO followed by a post-screening discussion. There is no charge to attend this event and is open to the public.

How many beauty contestants can say “I competed in a pageant where I butchered a sheep?” Crystal Frazier can. Follow this introverted, self-proclaimed tomboy as she makes bread, weaves a rug, sweats her way through a language quiz – and that’s just the first day – on her quest to become the new MISS NAVAJO.

22nd Annual Latin American Film Festival

Friday, November 9, Saturday November 10, and Sunday, November 11

Richard H. Rich Theatre and Hill Auditorium

The 22nd Annual Latin American Film Festival features outstanding recent cinema from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Spain and the United States. Running from October 12 through November 17, its seventeen films represent the best of comedy, drama and documentary in Latin American film today. Most films are for mature audiences.

Tickets: $5 for general public and $4 for students, seniors and Museum members; patron-level members enter free, unless otherwise noted. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on the night of the screening.
